A big THANKS to everyone who has been reading the blog - for your comments, feedback and most importantly, for sharing positive wishes, thoughts, words, prayers, feelings, kindness and stories. I encourage people to post messages to Louise (and her community of supporters) in the comments section of each blog entry. I also encourage you to share any anecdotes, adventures, poems that remind you of Louise, or that would perhaps give us all some inspiration and hope; stories, from days of yore to present times, will help us celebrate Louise and her road to recovery. Messages are nice as well - especially messages to Louise. When I return to Maine in the coming weeks, I promise I will read everything people write to her. I also promise to try to post more frequent updates. You may, as many of you have, send comments to me too. Please indicate to me in your comments if you do not want something posted.
Here's to Louise's recovery!
I will gather memories and sit down to write them for Louise soon. I want to be sure I include details and of course just typing away isn't going to make them too accurate. I need to discover how to do this posting also so that my task will be completed in the right manner. I will again mention that your son, Louise, is keeping us all connected to you in a very heart warming way.
ReplyDeleteI've known Louise for many many years through one of her dearest friends Margaret (McPhee) Bray. Over the years we have had many a laugh sometimes at our own expense. One thing I do love about this woman is her amazing SMILE, one that would melt any heart and befriend any soul. She is genuine, what you see is what you get, the purest of hearts and the most giving of herself. She just helped me celebrate my 60th birthday back in February, a weekend I will forever hold in my fondest of memories having spent it with her and our friends. God speed Louise, my dear friend. We will all see you in Maine and celebrate life as we all love to do.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with you daily...........Denise A
I only met Louise a few times, and so don't have much to offer in terms of anecdotes- but I know her son really well, and based on that, I can say she is quite a great mom. I hope to see her again in the near future and share a nice glass of wine with her, Aunt Claire, and David.
